Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Welcome to Gronta. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform and AI employee services. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gronta's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

2. Who Can Use Gronta

Gronta is for businesses and professionals. To create an account you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it. The account owner is responsible for the team members they invite and for what those members do in the account.

3. Your Account

Keep your sign-in details confidential, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Plans and Payment

Gronta has a Free plan with a monthly allowance of credits. You don't need a card for it.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; see Payment Security. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel, and you authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal. If we change a plan's price, the new price applies from your next billing period after we have told you about it, never to a period you have already paid for.

5. Credits

  • Gronta measures AI work in credits. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance, refilled at the start of each monthly period. Allowance you don't use does not carry over.
  • Credit top-ups are one-off purchases. They are added once the payment is confirmed, they don't expire, and they are used only after your monthly allowance runs out.
  • Credits have no cash value. They can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and they can only be used in Gronta.

6. Cancellation, Refunds and Failed Payments

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in the app. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan. You can get a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment. How to ask for a refund, and what happens if a payment fails, is set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Promotions

Promo codes and sale prices are covered by our Promotion Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use Gronta, or have your AI employees create or send anything, that:

  • is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, hateful or deceptive;
  • is sexually explicit;
  • infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • is spam or unsolicited bulk messaging, including through email or social media accounts you connect;
  • impersonates a person or organization;
  • tries to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the security of Gronta, or resells access to it without our written agreement.

You are also responsible for following the terms of any service you connect to Gronta.

9. AI Employees and Their Output

AI employees create content automatically, and it can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable. Review anything an AI employee produces before you publish it, send it or act on it; you are responsible for how you use it. Gronta does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

10. Apps You Connect

When you connect another service, such as Gmail or a social media account, you let Gronta access it on your behalf to carry out the tasks you ask for. Your use of that service is governed by its own terms. You can disconnect it at any time from the Integrations page in the app.

11. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of the content you add to Gronta and of what AI employees create for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide the service. The Gronta platform, branding and underlying technology remain the intellectual property of Gronta. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer any part of our platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

Gronta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or use Gronta for fraudulent or harmful activity. You can close your account at any time from Settings. Download anything you want to keep first, from Settings → Data: once an account is deleted, its data can't be recovered.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Billing Questions and Disputes

If you have a question about a charge, please contact support@gronta.com before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We reply within 2 business days and will work with you to put things right. Chargebacks filed without first contacting our support team may result in temporary suspension of your account pending investigation.
