Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026
14-day money-back guarantee. If Gronta isn't right for you, you can have your first payment back within 14 days, and you can cancel at any time.
1. Our 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You can request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription payment. This applies to both monthly and yearly plans. The 14 days start on the date your first payment is processed.
2. What Isn't Refundable
- Credit top-ups: one-off credit purchases can't be refunded once the credits have been added to your account.
- Monthly renewals: after the 14 days, monthly payments aren't refunded. Cancel before your next renewal date and you won't be charged again.
- Yearly plans after 14 days: a refund is prorated, covering the whole months left in your subscription year.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email support@gronta.com from the address you use for Gronta, or include that address in your message, and tell us why you're asking for a refund. We reply within 2 business days.
4. How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with. They usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank. We'll let you know by email once the refund has been issued.
5. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time, online, without contacting us:
- In the Gronta app, open Billing from the menu and choose Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the page.
- Tell us why you're leaving if you'd like to (it's optional), choose Continue Cancellation, then Confirm Cancellation. You finish in Stripe's secure customer portal, our payment provider's page for managing your subscription.
You keep your plan's features and credits until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. After that your account moves to the Free plan. Any top-up credits you bought stay in your account.
6. Changing Your Plan
An upgrade starts straight away, with the new plan's full credit allowance, and you'll see any charge for the rest of your current billing period before you confirm. A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep what you've paid for until then.
7. If a Payment Fails
If a renewal payment doesn't go through, update your card from the Billing page. Our payment provider, Stripe, tries the payment again over the following days. If it still can't be collected, your subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan. Your top-up credits stay in your account.
